The bunk is perfect to catch some sleep on after that long drive. Fitted to the vertical L-Track on our Crux system, the bunk stows away vertically against the wall when not in use and is easily folded down to create a platform to sleep on - or to sit on, or to store things on, or do whatever you want on. The bunk can be fitted to both sides of the van, be used individually, as a pair side by side or one above the other and has the option of being purchased with or without a 4” foam mattress, that can be stowed on the bunk vertically against the wall. With Crux, the bunk can be positioned at any height within the rear of the van and has multiple tie down points built into the frame, with the option of retrofitting additional L-Track to the underside of the bunk for extra applications.
The bunk is manufactured from a powder coated steel welded frame, for optimal strength and is topped with either a lightweight & rigid PVC construction board panel or Hexagrip Phenolic plywood panel. Ratchet straps are required to hold the bunk in place to the roof mounted L-Track and also secure the bunk in its stowed position against the wall of the van.
Our bunk is a product for life. When your van bites the dust, or you feel it's upgrade time, don't be put off by starting a new conversion from scratch. Take our products with you! Our core products have been designed with longevity in mind, so will fit any van which has Crux fitted. On occasion, a few specific mounting brackets or end trims may be required to ensure a seamless fit, but we’ve done our best from the start to standardise our products for maximum compatibility. Please note: images show a pre-production Bunk with the production Bunk being 30mm narrower in width then shown in the images and also featuring a re-designed mounting bracket. We have future plans to bring out solid legs (to make a bench seat without straps) and offer various accessories to the underside of the bunk.
