Maximise the liveable space in your VW Crafter '06-'17/Mercedes Sprinter '06-'18 conversion with our M1 Pull Tested double swivel seat base. Having the option to park up and rotate the double passenger front seat really does free up the use of the van and is ideal for creating a lounge area at the front, which would otherwise be un-used space.
Our kit has been designed from 5mm structural grade steel, features a HDPE glide plate for an easy rotation and comes supplied with high tensile fasteners throughout. Six hand knobs (featuring 14.9 grade high tensile studs) are all that are required to secure the seat and to allow the seat to swivel. With our kit, the rotation boss has a hole large enough for the OEM airbag connector/wiring simply to simply pass straight through. The seat base is supplied in our powdercoated crux grey finish and features brushed stainless detailing.
This kit has been M1 Pull Tested by VOSA in the UK and meets ECE Regulation R14.07/ECE Directive 76/115/EEC as Amended by 2005/41EC (for use on the Mercedes Sprinter '18-). This kit has NOT been designed and M1 Pull Tested for the VW Crafter '06-'17 and Mercedes Sprinter '06-'18. Whilst the product (and fitment) we supply for these models/years of van is exactly the same, the M1 Pull Testing certification is not applicable, as the seat and base are different.
Due to the nature of the design, adding the swivel base does raise the seat height by approx. 80mm.
